Like Jesus, Oprah is the star of her own show. However, her show focuses on various aspects of self-improvement. She has her own advisors that come on the program and give advice on various self, life and home improvement strategies.

The well known Dr. Phil McGraw used to be the weekly “Relationship and Life Strategy Expert” on Oprah Winfrey’s hour of power. He went on to star in his own talk show Dr. Phil.

Currently, doctor Mehmet Oz who has his own show but also guest speaks on The Oprah Winfrey show. He is the head of cardiac surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. He is better known to all of Oprah's audience as "Dr. Oz", he more regularly appeared on Tuesdays during the 2008–2009 season of The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Nate Berkus is Oprah’s own interior decorator advisor and comes on the show giving advice. He insists interior décor can be done on any budget and shows the viewer’s how.

Suze Orman is Oprah’s money management advisor. She appears on the show now and then and discusses how to manage your money. She gives out her books on the show and she now writes  a financial advice column for O.

Those are some of Oprah's main advisors or 'disciples.' Just as Jesus one did, Oprah looks to her advisors to help advise her followers.
